About Greenacres Biodynamics
Greenacres Biodynamics are located in the Victorian Central Highlands between Trentham and Daylesford, surrounded by the Wombat Forest.
They are a small/medium size farm with undulating topography with a mix of open growing and grazing areas and forested pockets maintaining a natural balance and creating a variety of micro climates providing ideal growing conditions. There is a large spring fed dam with a healthy population of frogs, fish and ducks supplying ample water for irrigation.
They are committed to growing quality natural Biodynamic produce which is free from conventional fertilisers, chemical pesticides and herbicides.
Their soil is red basalt loam which is regenerated with Demeter Biodynamic 500 preparations, combined with natural green manure crops and enriched with sea mineral solids, SeaAgri SEA-90. This provides the soils with the complete balance of mineral and trace elements and an abundance of micronutrients. This regenerates and nurtures the soils, providing the most complete natural, nutrient-dense food and fodder for the healthiest livestock, wildlife and consumers alike.
The end result is premium healthy soil growing nutrient-dense produce, which is bursting with flavour and texture, grown as nature intended.
